Our aim is to give every one of our pupils the opportunity to maximise their talents and make the most of their potential by providing a broad and exciting curriculum, enriching activities and a wealth of unrivalled experiences in a warm, safe and happy environment. Our exceptional teaching and strong individual care and support has a strong positive influence on our pupils’ academic success and personal growth. When pupils leave Parkgate House they do so as well educated, confident and responsible young people ready to make their mark on the world.

Our Vision and Virtues

Parkgate House is a family, a nurturing school,

Where being kind is our number one rule,

A home from home, and at our heart,

Is our care for each child, right from the start.

The learning adventure begins from day one,

And children make progress whilst having fun,

Teachers are great and our children aim high,

They are always encouraged to reach for the sky.

Role models stand tall, guiding the way, 

Peer mentors listen, and help children play,

Achievement is far beyond the norm, 

And our Virtues are celebrated in every form:

Communication is clear, respect is right,

Empathy is essential, teamwork is tight,

Resilience is rewarded, kindness is key,

Independence is important, we take responsibility,

We develop our confidence, we’re individual too,
