Ofsted Report

Following our Ofsted inspection in June 2025, we are again very proud to be rated Outstanding in all categories.

We are delighted that the enthusiasm, ambition and kindness of our pupils, the academic and practical expertise of our staff and the culture and ethos of Parkgate House have been fully recognised by the inspectors, who visited lessons and interviewed staff and pupils. Given the highly rigorous nature of the Inspection Framework and the very small number of schools that are now being graded Outstanding, it really is a huge achievement for everyone involved.

It is also worth noting that, as an independent school, we are not required to have a regular inspection by Ofsted, but at Parkgate House we have chosen to have regular Ofsted inspections as we feel they are the best independent review a school can have. The report states:

“Pupils here show great care, kindness and respect towards each other… The school has high expectations of all pupils and their learning. Pupils delight in working through the ambitious work they complete.” 

“Pupils achieve highly and build a deep body of knowledge across the broad curriculum. From the Nursery onwards, pupils are exceptionally well prepared for the next stage of their education.”
