Fees include all stationery, text books, sport (including riding in the Prep Dept) and transport. All fees are reviewed annually prior to the end of the Summer term and take into account current market forces, salary awards to staff and other costs. Parkgate is part of the Nursery Grant Scheme and all children of the appropriate ages are eligible to receive this grant which is distributed to parents on receipt from the local authority.
TERMS & CONDITIONS Payment of Fees 1. School fees are due on, or before, the first day of term. 2. Pupils may be excluded if fees remain unpaid at half term. 3. Notice of the withdrawal of a pupil must be given in writing to the Head on, or before, the first day of term at the end of which the pupil is to leave, otherwise the following term’s fees are payable in lieu of notice. The School reserves the right to retain the deposit towards settlement of this liability, and charge the difference between the term’s fees and the deposit. 4. An administration charge of £50 is made for all fees remaining unpaid 7 days after the beginning of term. 5. We have an arrangement with HTC to enable parents to pay fees monthly. A leaflet giving further details is available from the school office.
Personal Accident Scheme All children are covered by the Parkgate Personal Accident Scheme and the charge is included in the fees.
Nursery Grant Scheme Parkgate is part of the Nursery Grant Scheme and all children of the appropriate ages are eligible to receive this grant which is distributed to parents on receipt from the local authority.
Registration Fee
The Registration Fee is non-returnable and secures inclusion of the child on the relevant waiting list but does not guarantee a place at the school. Places are oversubscribed and early registration is advised. Where possible, priority will be given to siblings of current pupils.
Deposit Fee
Payment of the Deposit Fee constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The Deposit Fee is payable for each child on acceptance of a place and is non-refundable in the event the place is accepted but not taken up. The Deposit Fee is retained by the school as part of its general funds but is returned (without interest) in the pupil’s final term by deduction from the final term’s fees subject to correct notice being given in accordance with the above Terms & Conditions. |
