Rugby

In the spring term we introduce tag rugby to our Pre-Prep and Prep 3 boys. Tag rugby is a fantastic sport that teaches pupils the basics of rugby, such as passing, dodging, running and tagging, all whilst playing a fast-moving and safe non-contact game.

During Prep 4 to Prep 6, Parkgate boys play contact rugby, a sport which mirrors the game played by the top professional players. Boys learn to tackle, dodge, ruck, maul, scrummage and pass, preparing them for competitive matches against local schools.
