Football

Parkgate boys play football during the autumn term from Pre-Prep 1 through to Prep 6. An important part of the curriculum, football is a sport in which we have been thriving during both PE lessons and competitive fixtures.

At Parkgate House we also play mini soccer, a variation of the game that is modified for younger children to help them understand the key elements of football. Matches are generally played with six or seven-aside teams as this allows the boys to be more involved, developing their skills faster, helping them to understand the rules of football and boosting their fitness.
