Educational Visits and Workshops

Pupils at Parkgate House are given the opportunity to broaden their educational experiences through a large number of educational and cultural visits. Pupils in all years visit museums, galleries and theatres. Throughout the year pupils also enjoy a number of workshops at school from leading children’s authors, poets and curriculum specialists.

Pupils from Prep 3 to Prep 6 take part in a two day residential adventure weekend. Activities experienced during the weekend include: abseiling, archery, motorsports, zipwire and rifle shooting.

In prep 6 pupils enjoy an additional residential visit at an outdoor learning centre specialising in fieldwork, adventurous activities, group challenges and teamwork.
